A
Acra – In the heart of the Catskills only 14 miles from Catskill and the Hudson River.
Adams Basin – A small community along the Erie Canal, near Spencerport and Brockport and very convenient to Rochester.
Addison – Small village in the Canisteo River Valley, Addison is convenient to Corning, and only 32 miles from Elmira.
Afton – Northeast of Binghamton by 26 miles. Rural community.
Akron – Near the Tonawanda Indian Reservation, 30 miles from Buffalo and 60 miles from Rochester.
Albany – The Capital City of New York State located on the Hudson River, Albany is convenient to the Catskills, the Adirondacks, The Hudson Valley and has many attractions - historical and fun-filled - and entertainment choices.
Albion – Picturesque village near the Erie Canal.
Alexandria Bay – Beautiful area north of Watertown in the heart of the 1000 Islands. Great vacation spot for outdoor or fishing enthusiasts.
Alfred – Home of both Alfred State University and Alfred State College, rural setting only 26 miles north of the Pennsylvania State Line and Genesee, Pa. There are accommodations in Alfred State University at the Saxon Inn or check Bed & Breakfasts in Angelica, Andover or Scio.
Alpine – Located in Schuyler County only 13 miles from Ithaca in Tompkins, 17 miles from Elmira in Chemung County, and only 7 miles from Watkins Glen State Park on the edge of beautiful Seneca Lake.
Altamont – Only 18 miles from Albany and 15 miles from Shenectady, home of the Black Creek Fiddler's reunion.
Altmar – Halfway between Watertown and Syracuse, known for great Salmon fishing at the Salmon River.
Amagansett – Near the very tip of Long Island in the Hamptons and famous for celebrity sightings.
Amenia – Only 11 miles from the Appalachian Trail in Cornwall Bridge, Connecticut, scenic Amenia is half an hour from Poughkeepsie and an hour and a half from New York City. Great getaway spot.
Amherst – In the suburbs of Buffalo, nearby communities include Williamsville.
Amsterdam - Montgomery County City. Points of interest include the Walter Elwood Museum and the Noteworthy Indian Museum.
Andes – In spacious and hilly Delaware County, Andes is closer to Greene County than most other Delaware County locations.
Andover – At the junction of routes 21 and 417, it is conveniently near the scenic east-west New York Highway 17 which connects it to Jamestown and Elmira.
Angelica – Just north of Andover (see above), convenient to Alfred University, Alfred State College, Houghton College, and St. Bonaventure University.
Aquebogue – Located at the beginning of the North Fork right in the center of Suffolk County north of the Great Peconic Bay.
Arietta – At the southern border of Hamilton County just north of Fulton County convenient to Utica (50 miles) and Albany (70 miles).
Ashland – In the heart of Greene County in the Catskill Mountains.
Ashville – Near Jamestown and Chautauqua Lake.
Athens – On the Hudson River south of Albany and convenient to both Catskill and Hudson and many Hudson Valley attractions.
Athol – Nearly halfway between Albany and Burlington, Vermont, mountainous Athol is a half hour drive to Glens Falls and an hour to Saratoga Springs. Near many hunting and fishing spots.
Auburn – On Owasco Lake this Finger Lakes community is half an hour to Syracuse and an hour to Rochester.
Aurora – Finger Lakes community on the shore of Cayuga Lake.
Austerlitz – Near the Massachusetts border and the Berkshire Mountains.
Averill Park – Halfway between Albany and the Massachusetts border in Rensselaer County.
Avoca – In the heart of Steuben County halfway between Dansville and Corning.
Avon – On the east bank of the Genesee River, Avon has the distinction of being the only place in America that Cool Whip is made!

Bainbridge – In Chenango County off I-88 between Binghamton and Oneonta.
Baldwinsville – Onandago County community on the banks of the Seneca River and convenient to Syracuse and Oneida Lake.
Ballston Spa – Convenient to Saratoga Springs and Saratoga Lake and the County Seat of Saratoga County.
Barneveld – North of Utica in Oneida County at the foothills of the Adirondacks.
Barryville – On the Delaware River across from Pennsylvania. Canoeing, rafting and other outdoor activities abound.
Bath – In Steuben County between Dansville and Elmira.
Beacon – This Dutchess County City lies in the scenic area between the Hudson River and Mount Beacon and features the Fishkill Creek. Directly across the Hudson from Newburgh, NY.
Bearsville – A Catskill Mountain village just outside of Woodstock in Ulster County.

Beaver Falls – In Lewis County 28 miles east of Watertown.
Beekman – Currently no listings in this community. Instead try nearby Poughkeepsie.
Belfast – Allegany County village on the Genesee River.
Bellport – Eastern Nassau County community on the shore of the Great South Bay.
Belmont – Allegany County village on the Genesee River.
Bemus Point – On Chautauqua Lake near Jamestown.
Berkshire – In Tioga County between Ithaca and Binghamton.
Berlin – Located in Rensselaer County convenient to Albany and near Cherry Plain State Park.
Binghamton – Broome County City located at the scenic intersections of Route 17 and I-88 and I-81. Between Syracuse and New York City near the Pennsylvania border.

Blooming Grove – In the center of Orange County about 50 miles north of New York City, and halfway between West Point and Goshen.
Blue Mountain Lake – In the heart of the Adirondacks near Blue Mountain, one of the highest peaks in New York at 3,759 feet.
Boiceville – In the heart of the Catskills near the highest peak - Slide Mountain - at 4,204 feet. Only 12 miles to Woodstock.
Bolton Landing – On Lake George in the Adirondacks 19 miles north of Glens Falls.
Boonville – In northern Oneida County north of Utica near the borders of Herkimer and Lewis counties. Attractions include the Pixley Falls State Park and the Black River Canal which was designed to connect to the Erie Canal.
Bovina Center – Catskills community located in Delaware County.
Branchport – Finger Lakes community on Keuka Lake.
Brant Lake – In the Adirondacks just a short drive to Lake George..
Bridgehampton – Great Long Island beach community and site of the annual Hampton Classic Horse Show and the Bridgehampton Polo Club.
Bristol Center – South of Canandaguia a short drive to Canandaguia Lake.
Broadalbin – At the foothills of the Adirondacks near Gloversville.
Brockport – Village on the Erie Canal 17 miles from Rochester. College community with nice shops and plenty of places to eat.
Bronx – One of the 5 boroughs of New York City. Home of the New York Yankees and the world famous Bronx Zoo.
Bronxville – Between the Bronx and White Plains in NYC metropolitan area in Westchester County. Convenient to Yonkers and New Rochelle.
Brookfield – In Otsego County between Oneonta and Utica.
Brooklyn – One of the five boroughs of New York City. If it were considered apart from NYC its population makes it the 4th largest city in the U.S. Attractions include the Brooklyn Museum, Coney Island - site of the oldest roller coaster in the world - The Cyclone, the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens and the scenic Brooklyn Heights Promenade. Great ethnic diversity is reflected in the great assortment of cuisine.
Brooktondale – Minutes from Ithaca and other Fingers Lakes attractions.
Buffalo – Home of the Buffalo Bills NFL Football team and much more. Another highlight is its Downtowns art deco architecture. Convenient to Niagara Falls and outlet malls.
Burdett – Finger Lakes community on Seneca Lake near Watkins Glen.
Burlington Flats – In Otsego County between Oneonta and Utica.
Burt – North of Buffalo near Olcott and Lockport and just south of Lake Ontario. Convenient to Niagara Falls.

Cadyville – Adironacks community near Lake Champlain. Look for accomodations in nearby Plattsburgh.
Cairo – On the edge of the Catskills convenient to Catskill and the Hudson River.
Caledonia – A short drive to Rochester. Local attractions include the Genesee Country Museum in nearby Mumford.
Callicoon – In Sullivan County on the Delaware River.
Calverton – Long Island community near Riverhead and the Great Peconic Bay.
Cambridge – Adirondacks community located in Washington County.
Camillus – Just west of Syracuse and near Onondaga Lake. Known for its home produce and grain markets.
Campbell – Between Corning and Bath on the Cohocton River.
Campbell Hall – Located in Orange County between Middletown and West Point.
Canaan – In Columbia County near the Berkshires of Massachusetts.
Canandaigua – Located about 30 miles southeast of Rochester at the north end of 16 mile long Canandaigua Lake, in the scenic Finger Lakes region.

Canastota – South of Oneida Lake and east of Syracuse. Attractions include the Great Swamp Nature Center on Main Street.
Candor – Located south of the Finger Lakes. It is a short drive to Cornell University and Ithaca College. Convenient to Binghamton and Elmira.
Caneadea – Located between Houghton and Belfast in Allegany County.
Canajoharie - In Montgomery County off the New York State Thruway.

Canton – In St. Lawrence County south of Pottsdam.
Cape Vincent – The northern gateway to the Thousand Islands and the St. Lawrence River. Attractions include Tibbetts Point Light House and numerous boating and fishing activities. Just miles from the Canadian border.
Caroga Lake – In the center of Fulton County between Utica and Saratoga Springs.
Castile – Nearby Letchworth State Park has one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Eastern U.S.
Castorland – In Lewis County east of Watertown.
Catskill – On the Hudson River at the mouth of the Catskill River and snuggled against the foothills of the Catskill Mountains. Attractions include the Catskill Game Farm and the Cohotate Nature Preserve.

Cazenovia – Southeast of Syracuse on Route 92 and located along the edge of Cazenovia Lake. Good shopping and golfing.
Centerport – In Long Island's Nassau County near Huntington Bay and Cold Spring Harbor. Antique shops and good access to Long Island Sound.
Central Valley – Located in Orange County and convenient to Rockland and Westchester counties. Look for accommodations in Newburgh.
Center Moriches – Long Island community features beautiful oceanfront beaches.
Chappaqua – In Westchester County between the Hudson River and Long Island Sound north of Pleasantville and New York City.
Chatham – Columbia County community between the Catskills and the Berkshires of Massachusetts.
Chazy – Located between the Adirondacks and the Green Mountains of Vermont on the shore of 121-mile-long Lake Champlain.
Chateaugay – In the northern reaches of the Adirondacks just south of the Canadian border in Franklin County. Known for its great fishing.
Chautauqua – In Chautauqua County only 12 miles from Lake Erie.
Chemung – Chemung County community.
Cherry Creek – Located almost equal distance between Jamestown, the Allegheny Indian Reservation and the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation. Rural community.
Cherry Grove – Currently no listings in this Long Island community. Instead try Fire Island or Fire Island Pines.
Cherryplain – Located in Rensselaer County.
Cherry Valley – Between Otsego Lake and Cobleskill in Otsego County.
Chestertown – North of Glens Falls in the Adirondack Park west of Lake George.
Chichester – In Ulster County near the Greene County line in the heart of Catskill Park north of the Ashokan Reservoir.
Cincinnatus – In Cortland County near the Chenango County line north of Binghamton. Home of the annual Cincinnatus Corn Festival the 3rd week of September each year.
Clarence – East of Buffalo off the New York State Thruway.
Clarkson – Currently no listings in this community. Instead try Brockport or Hamlin listings in Monroe County.
Claverack – Hudson Valley community between the Catskills and the Berkshires of Massachusetts just a short drive to the village of Hudson on the Hudson River.
Clayton – There are currently no listings in this community. Try Jefferson County.
Cleveland – The city in Ohio may have the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame but this lesser-known Cleveland has beautiful Oneida Lake!
Clinton – Convenient to Utica in central Oneida County.
Clinton Corners – Located just off the Taconic State Parkway in north-central Dutchess County, is home to many horse farms, orchid farms and vineyards.
Cobleskill – Schoharie County community west of Albany.
Cohocton – Between Dansville and Corning on I-390 south of Rochester.
Cohoes – Just north of Albany on the Hudson River at the mouth of the Mohawk River. The Cohoes Falls are a nice attraction mentioned in Indian folklore.
Colden – Located in Erie County south of Buffalo, Colden is only 11 miles from Rich Stadium where the Buffalo Bills play their home games.
Cold Spring – This quiet river town located where the Hudson River cuts through the Appalachian Mountains is home to more than 340 historic buildings, bridges and roads that are all landmarks listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Cold Spring Harbor – Nassau County Long Island waterfront community.
Colton – Located south of Potsdam in St. Lawrence County.
Conesus – Located between Conesus and Hemlock Lakes in the Finger Lakes region in Livingston County.
Conklin – In the hills near Binghamton and only 3 miles from the Pa. border.
Constableville – In Lewis County 35 miles north of Utica.
Cooperstown – Seventy miles west of Albany, in the center of Otsego County, on the wooded banks of Otsego Lake, lies Cooperstown, christened ``Glimmerglass" by novelist James Fenimore Cooper, son of the town's founder. Attractions include the National Baseball Hall of Fame and the Glimmerglass Opera.
Copake – Columbia County community near the borders of Massachusetts and Connecticut and 2 hours north of New York City. Try Hillsdale - only 5 miles away.
Copenhagen – Lewis County community convenient to Watertown.
Corfu – In Genesee County south of the Tonawanda Indian Reservation.
Corinth – A beautiful Adirondacks community that is known as the Snowshoe Capital of the world. Between Glens Falls and Saratoga Springs.
Corning – South of Rochester and south-southwest of the Finger Lakes. Local attractions include the Corning Museum of Glass. A short drive to Elmira and the wineries of the western Finger Lakes.
Cornwall – Cornwall and its sister village Cornwall-on-Hudson, are situated on the banks of the Hudson River just north of Majestic Storm King Mountain and West Point Military Academy.
Cortland – In the center of Cortland County northeast of Ithaca and Tompkins County attractions.
Croton On Hudson – In Westchester County on the Hudson River 33 miles north of Manhattan. Attractions include Croton Point Park and the historic New Croton Dam. Croton-On-Hudson is also known for its artistic community, which has been drawn to the area, in part, because of its lovely landscapes and scenic vistas.
Crown Point – In the Adirondacks on Lake Champlain. Great fishing spot.
Cuba – In Allegany County near the Cattaraugus County line.
Cutchogue – North Fork, Long Island community with access to the Great Peconic Bay and Long Island Sound.
